Why should I join as a free member?

Why not?! Registration is fast and easy, taking up very little of your time. Once you’ve completed your profile, you then simply leave it with us! Forget swiping for hours on end. Here at Chapter One, we do all the hard work and then get in touch when we find a suitable match in your area. You have nothing to lose – but oh so much to gain! Our members are serious about finding love and we’re committed to connecting the right people with you.

Am I guaranteed matches?

No, not as a free member. If you’re serious about finding love quickly, then our Premium Matchmaking services are perfect for you. In the meantime, free membership means that your profile will be reviewed when any of our paid members crop up in your area and age range. We’ll then do compatibility tests and contact you if the two are a good fit. However, it’s still well worthwhile registering as you’ve got to be ‘in the game’ to ‘win the game’ – right? Nothing to lose remember!

How does the sign up process work?

All you have to do is sign up here and complete your registration form – this will outline who you are and what you’re looking for. When a client comes through as a suitable match, we’ll then get in touch, schedule a quick call, send through their full profile for you to review and if the two of you decide you’d like a date, we will arrange this for you – starting virtually of course. (Safety first!)

Can I upgrade at a later date?

Of course! You’ve read the prologue and now you’re ready for the first chapter! 😉 Good choice! You can upgrade to our Premium Matchmaking services at any time. There’s no rush or pressure though. HOW IT WORKS

PREMIUM MATCHMAKING

Go one step further from FREE membership and let us work with you, to find your life-long partner. You’ll have guaranteed matches and dates, as we proactively headhunt people on the same page as you. Here’s how it works…

Step 1

Once you’ve joined as a Premium Member, you will be allocated a Personal Matchmaker. This person will be your go-to advisor for anything you need. After completing your registration, you will have a 30 minute welcome call to share more about who you are and what you’re looking for. The better picture we have of you as a person, the easier it is to find your perfect match!



Step 2

From there, we scour our database for suitable members to get your First Date Requests coming through. We match based on psychology, compatibility, personality, and of course both your ‘deal breakers’ and ‘desirables’. We also search beyond our extensive members list, headhunting ideal partners based on your wants and needs. All potential matches are vetted, interviewed and carefully profiled. If, after that, they still tick all the right boxes, and they’re open to getting to know you, we’ll send over their profile for your consideration. Exciting stuff! 

Step 3

With each dating profile we pitch, we’ll provide a Compatibility Rating and “What Makes Them a Great Catch.” See, we’ve taken the time to get to know these people, so we’ll be able to see the things that you couldn’t with the antiquated “swipe right” process of dating apps. If you like what you see, we’ll schedule a Virtual Date on our secure video-call platform.





STEP 4

It’s date time - but the originality doesn’t stop there! Forget stilted conversations or awkward silences. We’re easing the pressure of first date nerves, with OPTIONAL themed or topical virtual first date experiences. Pick from our selection or just go for a simple call - whatever you prefer. Either way, we guarantee you’ll have a lot of fun… Let the story begin!

STEP 5

After the call, we’ll do a quick Post-Date-Evaluation, to find out what you liked, what you didn’t, and to better shape our matching process from there. We’ll also gain honest feedback from your date to find out what the deal is from their side. Uh huh, we’re removing any chance of ghosting, or unanswered questions = life made far simpler! If the two of you clicked, your contact details will be passed to each other and it’s over to you from there! In the meantime, we’ll still keep your personalised matches coming through. After all, there’s plenty of books on the shelf! 😉


